New CEO
Torex Retail Holdings Limited (Torex™), the leading global provider of innovative, integrated technology solutions to the extended retail marketplace, today announced the appointment of Steve Rowley as CEO, effective 2nd January 2009. The current CEO and Chairman, Mike Greenough, will move to Executive Chairman of the Board.
Steve Rowley joins Torex at an important milestone in the company’s transformation. Having laid the foundations of a profitable, solutions-driven organisation, including four successive quarters of positive growth, Greenough will continue to play a significant role in the continuing expansion and development of Torex, focusing primarily on strategic corporate initiatives.
Rowley joins Torex from Anite plc where he served as CEO for five years. Prior to this he held senior executive positions in IBM and 3Com amongst others.
