Sato, Spezialist für Etiketten- und Barcode-Drucker, Data Collection Systems und RFID-Labeltechnologie, hat mit dem japanischen Hersteller von elektronischen Konsumgütern, Kassen- und mobilen Scannerterminals Casio eine Kooperation in Europa beschlossen. Damit weiten die Casio Europe GmbH aus Norderstedt und die Sato Labelling Solutions Europe GmbH mit Sitz in Hirschhorn die bereits bestehende Zusammenarbeit der beiden Unternehmen im asiatischen Bereich auf den europäischen Markt aus. Das erste gemeinsame Projekt ist eine Slap&Ship RFID-Komplettlösung für Lieferanten aus dem Metro-Umfeld. Dazu wurde ein Casio-Handterminal mit Sato-Industriedruckern, die mit einem RFID-UHF-Modul ausgestattet sind, kombiniert. Weitere gemeinsame Lösungen für Handel, Logistik und Gesundheitswesen sind in der Planung.
European collaboration for RFID complete solutions
Sato, a specialist for label and bar code printers, data collection systems and RFID label technology, decided to collaborate in Europe with Casio, a Japanese manufacturer of electronic consumer goods, cash terminals and mobile scanner terminals. In this way, Casio Europe GmbH from Norderstedt and Sato Labelling Solutions Europe GmbH from Hirschhorn expand the existing collaboration of the two companies in Asia in the European market. The first common project is a Slap&Ship RFID complete solution for suppliers from the Metro area. For this purpose, a Casio hand-held terminal was combined with Sato industrial printers equipped with a RFID UHF module. Further common solutions for trade, logistics and healthcare are being planned.
